ALS Lands Million Dollar Contract with USG

May 19,1998 -- Robert Ahbel, President of Advanced Logistics Systems, Inc. announced today that a contract has been signed with United States Gypsum, Inc. Scope of work includes interfacing to USG’s Mainframe Order processing system, development of a bar-code, UCC-128, and custom load planning system. This contract provides for installation and training at all 40 USG plants. Advanced Logistics Systems is the world wide leader of load diagramming/planning technology development. Similar systems were developed, implemented, and have been in use for several years at Georgia-Pacific, Lafarge and National Gypsum. The contract is valued at over one million dollars, with ROI estimated to be less than one half year. Other Advanced Logistics Systems' clients include General Electric, Chrysler, Ford and Federal Express.
